Together in Support of the Aunkst Family
Story
We are coming together to support our dear friends, the Aunkst family—Brady, Denise, and their three daughters, Katy, Jordyn, and Lauryn—after an unexpected medical emergency turned their vacation into a life-altering experience.
What was meant to be a special trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to celebrate Brady and Denise’s wedding anniversary quickly turned into a nightmare. Brady was suddenly hospitalized and required emergency surgery. What was supposed to be a time of rest and celebration became two weeks of hospital stays, uncertainty, and mounting stress. On top of the emotional and physical toll, the Aunksts had to face the logistical challenges and financial burden of out-of-state medical care, including flying home to Pennsylvania once Brady was stable enough to travel.
The timing of this crisis was especially heartbreaking, as Brady and Denise had to miss their daughter Lauryn’s senior prom and other once-in-a-lifetime senior year events—memories that no family ever wants to miss.
As you can imagine, the costs have quickly added up—hospital bills, travel and accommodation during their extended stay, and lost income during recovery. We are hoping to raise funds to help ease this burden so the Aunksts can focus on what matters most: healing and being together as a family.
Brady and Denise have always been the first to show up for others. They give generously, support their community with open hearts, and never ask for anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to show up for them.
Please consider donating to help cover their medical expenses, travel costs, and lost income. Every contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. If you’re not able to give right now, sharing this fundraiser with others is also a powerful way to help.
Let’s rally around this incredible family and remind them that they’re not alone in this.
With love and gratitude,
Blaine and Brittany Haas
